Ha you caught me Dave, radar, not radio, duh!

FBI and CIA are only initials. An acronym must contain more than one letter to qualify, ie; "radar" (RAdio Detection And Ranging).

Twice I got caught in the same thread, wow a record. My dictionary states: a word formed from the first (or first few) letters of several words, as radar, from radio detecting and ranging.

Should always look, but I thought I knew. I've lived with the wrong idea for quite awhile now. LOL

 

Could be worse.....we had a guy here (35 y.o.) who actually thought that
scape goat was "escaped goat"
