Does SW2008 Force Us to Choose Between Releases?

Discussion in 'SolidWorks' started by Jerry Steiger, Nov 13, 2007.

  1. One of my colleagues tried to install SW2008 at home. The installer told him
he couldn't install it because his licenses were used up. He was forced to
uninstall SW2007 in order to get SW2008 to install. Is this what other
people are seeing? Is that the way SW is going to work now? If so, this is
going to be a major headache.

  3. The message yells at you, but doesn't appear to lock the door. If you are
just installing a new version on the same machine, so what?
