Maybe I just have not found it. But does any version of SW have a
dynamic zoom feature or function similar to Autocad?

You can zoom in and out dynamically (in real time), but not in the same
fashion AutoCAD does it where you define the window with the left mouse
button and activate it with the right mouse button. Hold the scroll
button on your mouse down and the Shift key down at the same time. Now
    move your mouse.

How about just rolling the scroll buttom back and forth? Doesn't
require any combination of mouse clicks. Make sure you keep the cursor
on screen where you want to zoom and that point will stay in the zoom
    focus.
