Dockable Forms in VBA

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Robert Plummer, Aug 24, 2004.

  1. I have seen several threads on Accont.arx, but I haven't found much
documentation on how to implement it. Are there any samples or any
documentation of how to use Accont.arx to create dockable userforms in VBA?
I am a newbie in the realm of creating controls. I have a simple for that
I would like to make dockable. Am I in for a lot of work to make this
happen? Any advice or direction towards useful documentation would be very
    much appreciated.

    Thanks.

  2. Not in VBA. You need VB.

  3. Although you cannont dock in VB terms...you can use the
"Top" and "Left" propertys of the form..Won't adjust to moving
other toolbars and such...but you can drive it to some other
location on the screen other than the dreaded middle...')

Mike Tuersley wrote an article in Cadalyst documenting how to use it. Search
there, it was a dockable calculator program. The article has a link to his
website where you can download the samples.

  5. Okay. VB, then. Is there any documentation on how to implement the
dockable containers for AutoCAD in VB?
