Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Marcel Goulet, Oct 19, 2004.

  1. Hi,

I have a program that creating automatically the dimstyle for the drawing scale and setting all the variables.

But sometime, when the program set the variable DIMBLK whit a dot, I have a message that said: Block "." not defined

What AutoCAD answer that ? A dot is not a block!

    Thanks

I bet that it only happens in drawings that have never had a dimension
created in them...dimension arrows, oblique lines, or dots are blocks. Just
look at your block list in a drawing that has had a dimension created in it,
    and one that hasn't.
