dims and drawings

    I have a number of drawings, simple U shaped brackets, that loose the
    dimensions when the part is changed.

    The drawing is fully dimensioned and when I change the model, a simple
    change, and open the drawing file the views have jumped around and the
    dimensions have lost the link becoming 'greyed' out.

    any suggestions on what may be happening?

    Yep...you're using Solidworks!
