    Hi all

I'm doing 3D subsea pipe spools.I want to put the dimensions in paper space. But when I plot the drawing with the hide plot option in paper space the text and arrow heads are not filled.
Is there any way round this, apart from putting the dims in paper space. I am using Autocad 2000.

If your model is viewed in a layout viewport with dims in PS, dblclick the vieport and set it to hideplot on. Then UNcheck the plot hidden lines in the plot dialog.

    Or

    Put the dimensions in paperspace

    Or

Choose a font that does not require filling.

Your problem is a long standing issue with AutoCAD's way of handling raster
images. If you choose a filled font, put them in modelspace and choose to
hide lines on plotting your view, it will always give you that problem.
