Dimension to quadrant?

    When in a sketch, I cannot figure out how to dimension to an arc's
    quadrant. The dim tool defaults to the center and the "quick Snaps"
    toolbar is grayed out.

    Suggestions?

    Use shift while selecting the arc.

    And hold it until you finish placing the dim, otherwise you will lose the
    lock.

    Which version of SW are you on?
    I've tried this in 2005sp5 but it doesn't seem to work.
