Dimension Text Rotates with angle

    Hi all,

    Look at this scenario:
I have created a horizontal dimension, with DIMTIH off.
When I rotate this dimension, I expect the dimension to get rotated as a whole, including text, to required angle.
(Note that the Text angle is currently same as the dimension line angle.)

But, Text reverses its angle when the quadrant changes across vertical line. The angle that was changed by dragging manually around a point changes its orientation when it encounters the vertical line (+/- 90 degrees) and crossing over to other quadrant.

What could be done to stop this TEXT reversal? Is there any setvar to control this?

    Thanks for any suggestions,

Rotate the UCS 180 degrees and then recreate the dimension.

    Hi MNRaghu,

Check Herman Mayfarth's site at http://www.tktn.com/utilities/tkutil.htm and look for
    DIMTXTOR.lsp.

I have a similar, if not the same problem when I copyclip dimensions, rotate the UCS,
then paste. Herman's program fixes the dimension text.
