dimension styles

    does anyone know where could i download more dimension styles than there
    are already in acad?
    (but free)

    im looking for some cross-section 2d altittude dimensions...

    Normally, dimension styles are something you set up for yourself. I can't
    recall *ever* seeing downloadable dimension styles.

  3. I have a routine on my site that indicates the elevation of a point, but you
    first have to specify the UCS so that the origin in acad is the origin in
    the real world. It uses leaders in your current dimension style, and
    extracts the Y value of the point and puts it into the leader text. It is
    called HOWHI.LSP
