Dimension not visable before placing

    Dragmode set to Auto

    Most of my drawing is done in "Layout" (paper space). When placing
    dimensions in an active viewport sometimes the dimension cannot be seen
    until the placement location is picked. It doesn't happen all the time but
    when it does, it is inconvenient at best. This never occurs when working in
    "Model" space. Is there a variable other than Dragmode or is this simply a
    bug?
