DIM SNAP IN DRAWINGS?? TURN IT OFF?? 07 SP2.0

    any ideas on how or where to turn this fine feature off? (using alt key
    as work around) thanks!!

  2. Maybe you are looking for Document Properties\Detailing\Dimensions and
    uncheck Snap text to grid? Make sure you have a drawing open when you go
    looking for that setting.

    to quit the snapping of radial and diameter dims to go: Tools, Options,
    Doc Properties, Dimensions, Radial Leader Snap Angle and set it to 0. I
    haven't found one that controls linear dimensions yet.

    If you're talking about the snap at angle and position snap, the only
    way I've been able to rid myself of this PITFA enhancement is to change
    the RADIAL LEADER SNAP ANGLE to 0 and the 2 offset distances to some
    huge number so you won't reach that dimension. Go to TOOLS>DOCUMENT
    PROPERTIES and under the DETAILING>DIMENSION area is where this is at.
    They were supposed to add a toggle to turn this off as it was reported
    during beta testing but they must have had more bells and whistles to
    add before fixing those things they screwed up and called them enhancements.
