DIESEL - String Extraction

    I have a string variable that will either be atomic, i.e.: XXX
    Or it will have 3 values, separated by spaces: XXX YYY ZZZ
    The lengths are not constant.

    Can I use diesel to evaluate if there are spaces, have it extract the 1st,
    2nd, or 3rd value, or if it is atomic, just return the value?
