I got this in my email. It is a great routine. I had one
like it. My question is this. I have an "UNLOCKIT"
routine that will undeter or unlock it. Should I
    post it?

    Drawing Modification Deterrent

This free tool creates an anonymous minsert of a selection set of
geometry. This is a strong deterrent to prevent changes (by
others) to the drawing because it can't be exploded or refedited.

Be careful to use only on a *copy* of your drawing you intend to
    to send to others!

  2. Which is exactly why it is just a deterrent. If someone wants to, they can
still access your drawing, but it takes some knowledge and a little effort.
It's not that it can't be hacked, it's just a pain in the @$$ to do it.

I have something similar that changes everything to layer 0, (maintains
color and linetype), and also makes a minserted anonymous block.

In basically all the cases.... just DXFOUT, edit the dxf file, find the
yes may be, but you are "Luis Esquivel" and 99,..% AutoCAD users don't know
    that ;o)

  4. I have an "UNLOCKIT"
    Yes, I will try.

But do you know that with AutoCAD Mechanical (2005)
you can refedit an anonymous minsert?
