I just purchased a used designjet 2oo for use with AutoCAD 2004LT. I have experienced problems in plotting. I originally assumed it was the 2Mb of ram so I upgraded to 10 Mb today and the problems persist. The whole drawing does not plot. The text might be missing or the title block or other what seems to be random items. They all appear in the plot preview. Is this a driver problem? Any suggestions are welcome. I have a few drawings that need to be plotter as soon as possible.
    Thanks Steve

Sounds like you need to add even more memory.. We had a 200 several years
ago when they first came out. I had the same problems as my drawings
got more complex. I kept adding memory until I maxed it out. Though, I
    don't remember how much.

The drawing I'm trying to plot is only 159kb. I maxed the plotter out at 10Mb today. Do you still think it's lack of memory?

I'm not sure. I vaguely remember adding more than 10MB. Again, my
problem was the same as yours and the memory took car of the problem.

I suppose you can try to update the driver.

I downloaded some driver from hp today. But I am unsure if I properly applied them after I downloaded them. I don't do that sort of thing very often and am always unsure if I did it rignt.

Thanks for the help. I kept trying to reinstall the drivers I down loaded and finally say the one step that I forgot to do. Now when I plot a new screen pops up and starts that hp drivers are being used. I must have been the windows drivers that were causing the problem. Now I have excellent plot quality.
    thanks again
