What is the syntax to reference a specific cell of a design table that
is to be used in an equation in another part?

    TIA

Design tables cannot connect to, or be connected to by SW documents they
are not a part of. They can make references to other Excel documents, which
requires all of the involved design tables to be saved separately from the
    model documents.

If I misread you and you are wanting to reference another part's design
table cell from an equation in the part (not in a design table), that can't
be done. The closest you can get is to have the target design table driving
a dimension in its model, then reference that dimension in the equation you
are adding to the other model. This will require both models to be in an
    assembly.

    Clear as mud?
