Design Journal Word Doc

Where is the embedded Design Journal Word Doc located. Can you pull
this word doc out of solidworks and store it?

 

It doesn't really tell you where it's "stored" other than embedded directly
in the SolidWorks file. You can open and save a copy of it anywhere you
like. You can also delete the file from the SolidWorks file.

Thanks Richard- That makes sense. I wanted my production guys to be
able to pull this info from the solidworks files instead of me
creating more files and storing them outside the assembly or drawing
file.
