When installing a stand-alone version of AutoCAD 2004 using teh CD, you have
the option to uncheck "create shortcut on desktop". When using the NIW to
create a stand-alone deployment, you do not have this option.

In our environment, AutoCAD is installed using an administrative login.
After it is installed and authorized as the administrator, the user will
open it with their login and it will put a shortcut on their desktop. The
users do not have the proper permissions to delete the shortcut from the
    desktop.

Currently we have to login as administrator again as administrator to remove
    the shortcut again.

Is their a way to create stand-alone (and network) deployments without
having the shortcut placed on the desktop? Any help would be appreciated.
We will be deploying 2004 company wide in a few weeks.

    Thanks
    Dave
