Im using solview and soldraw to extract 2D drawings from my 3D model.
Whenever i used soldraw, the automatic "-VIS", "-HID" and "-DIM" layers
are created. When i delete a viewport from the paperspace mode, the
corresponding -DIM layer can be deleted but not the -VIS and -DIM.

Why cant I delete these layers? I've currently got a layer list full of
unused layers which I'd really like to get rid of.

    Chris.

I've tried using "purge" and it helps a bit, but some layers still can't
be deleted. Even after I clear everything in model space, they're still
    undeletable.
