Deleting / removing proxy objects

    I have hundreds of files that have been created with Karelcad, an architectural application add-on, and the drawings contain proxy objects, and everytime you open the drawings the proxy notification dialoge pops up.
    Is there anyway to strip all proxy objects from the drawing without losing any information, and stop the dialogue from appearing each time a drawing is opened.
