We're talking MDT here correct? What specifically do you want to do, for instance delete all references that do not have parts in the current assembly? A little more info would be helpfull.

MDT, no not exactly. I am opening files that have been exported from Inventor. The part reference tags are on all the views. I just want to grab them with a macro and delete them as they serve no purpose for my use.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Part reference tags? Honestly I have no idea what you're talking about, I guess I haven't exported enough 2d drawings from INV to ACAD. That is what you're doing right? If not then I'm totally lost :D

If these ampartrefs are entities then you should be able to make a selection set filtered on that entity type and delete them all in one shot. If it is a proxy graphic then I don't know.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

    Jacob.
