I have recreated our standard blocks for HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical, however when I insert them they are not at the insertion point that I would like. I moved the objects to 0,0 based on where I wanted the IP to be.

How can I tell the block where I want the IP to be without having to wblock it into itself?
Didn't there used to be an "ip" command? Is that still around?

Also, each block is it's own individual drawing file.

    Thanks.

What is the base of each block set to..
Type base and it should read 0,0,0

  4. Question....

Why don't you use the WBLOCK command to create your lib. I've found that
with all related blocks on a single a dwg within the lib. it makes the
organization of these blocks a lot more user friendly within the Design
Center. for example I've got with in my lib. a window dwg, door dwg, notes
dwg etc... within each are all the related blocks...just curious....another
advantage to this is that ultimately you (well I should say I have) ended up
with a 2nd "master" dwg will all the blocks and I can zip it down and put it
    in the archives....just in case.....
