I'm looking for an application (or an address of websit) which makes it
possible since AutoCAD to create a whole database with tables (or
similar), link records with autocad objects and to be able to make
requests and export to Excel or text file to create lists, BOM or others...
    Thank you

I am still in the process of cleaning up a project that utilizes an Access
database. IT is not automatic in that you have to initiate the database
change with a button click (i.e. To revised the drawing, I start the Revise
routine which will update the database and enter the revision into the
    titleblock of the drawing).

Let me know and I'll be willing to zip up what I have for you to look at.
Or I would be willing to customize it for your company for a fee.

  5. Nathan,

I also tried similar apprach, but after some (hm...) time spent with
unsatisfied users who experienced unsynched databases and drawings entities
I decided to switch to XRecords and XData, keeping only not-so-necessary
data in external DBs (I call them "catalogs", as they fill the XData
structures for selected entity type at run-time). Alas, it's mostly one-way
street, so for a bit more complex software I'm currently on I had to switch
(once again) to Oracle with Spatial Cartridge and GIS Design Server who
keeps all the objects/data/XData in synch, deploying necessary event
    (reactor) mechanisms.
