    how can we extract the geometry information for an AutoCad drawing
    including the coordinates (x and y) to a database file.

  2. What kind of information you want to extract (what else beside coordinates)
    and what kind of database file you want to make?
    Is it simply *.txt file, or you want to make *.mdb (MS Access file) or
    something similar?

    If you know how to read a DXF file then dxfout will do it.
    db connect in the help section will explain how to connect
    to a external data base such as db3.

    You can link the DWG file to an Excel file, interactively. Check
    the ACAD help files on how to do that.
