when I try to open a file Autocad 2004, I from the following error:

    "! dbspace.cpp]@ 1954: eOutOfRange"

    Do you know the solution?
You know a program for the damaged DWG recovery.

    Thank you

  2. Have you tried the RECOVER command in AutoCAD?
Also, try insert it as a block in an empty dwg.

Have you already tried the "recover" command from the AutoCAD file
menu? If this also fails you can make a new drawing and try to
    "insert" the corrupt file

Just had two instances of a similar error code myself.

In the end I found that partialopen and partiaload let me load the layers
that were not damaged, then I cut & paste them into a new drawing and redid
    the layers that were corrupt.

A bit long winded, but still a hell of a lot quicker than redrawing the
    whole damn thing.

Sorry about the long wait in replying but I only just figured it out when I
    had my error codes. :)

Have you tried loading into IntelliCAD then re-saving ????

Try it, I've fixed a lot of problems this way, so much that we bought
a copy of IntelliCAD just to recover drawings AutoCAD could not.

    <snippage>

Yeah, just finished downloading the trial.

Opened up as a blank drawing.

In the end i used partialopen and partiaload to get all but a small part of
drawing, then cut & pasted into a new template.

    Thanks for the tip anyway.
