    Hello,

    Best wishes for 2004.

In MicroStation/J I'm often using the barmenu.ma to easily access
    levels.
The users of MicroStation are using the barmenu the same way as the
    standard pulldown menus.
For example: They are choosing in the barmenu "place streetname". The
barmenu activates the command: "active txj
    lb;lv=2;wt=1;co=11;ft=151;tx=2.5;place dialogtext icon"

The user don't have to know the level, color, weight, font and other
    things.
This works very good and the pulldownmenu's are very easily to
    program.

The mdl Barmenu doesn't work in V8.

Does anybody has a tool (mdl of macro) that does the same???

    Thanks,

    Peter

ACS Menu Manager uses a combination of Barmenus, Excel and VBA macros
to do what you want to do. Instead of keying in the data into .mdf
files, you keep all the menu info in an Excel file, which uses macros
to automatically create the .mdf files. Barmenus can switch back and
forth with a heiarchal drop down menu.

It's Free. I use it with V8 and I swear by it.
