wondering if there was a way to make the "Y" key (by itself) assigned to toggle the polar on/off. I know u can use control u but it's kind of awkward. I've tried modifying the acad.mns/mnu files but toggling polar really isn't a command, it seems different. Well lemme know what u tink.

    TIA, Shawn

It's controlled by the autosnap system variable. You could write a lisp to
do a boolean operation on autosnap and assign it to a key, but why not use
the F10 key, or just poke the polar button at the bottom of the screen? It's
    a shame to custom-program a one-click interface when there are already a
    couple of them built in.
