    Hi all,

I ran into a major mess with intermittant data loss on prints using a
custom paper size. When the pc3 file was changed to use a standard paper
it worked fine. Is this common?

    win2K, autocad2004, win2k server

Plot to the Windows driver direct, use it to create a Custom sheet size, see if it works. Create a PC3 file from that setup if it does.

    Stick to this order:
On the server, make the custom paper size.
Chekc the queue on the server if you can select this form as default paper size. If not, there is something in the queue properties that prevents this (Roll/sheet settings, extra trays that are not defined, wrong driver.)
Then connect to the queue on the client (ths simplest method is on the Client: Start Run; fill in \\servername OK; click one on the queue you configured, Right click Connect. Only with this method you're 100% sure that the point-and-print driver is propagated form sever to client)
Try using the sheet in Excel.
If this all works, then start configurating AutoCAD, creatting a PC3.
