I just upgraded from 2002 to 2005 and noticed the warning screen to not
customize the standard acad.mnu file but to use the new partial menu
    custom.mnu instead.

I tried to use the migration tool porter figuring that that would accomplish
this, but it doesn't seem to work, (what a lame help file for that one). I
ended up just copying my custom tool bar menus and bmps over to the new
support sub-directories and then loading the various menus. All seems well,
but I still want to know where in the documentation is the proper use of
this custom.mnu explained, and what kind of doo are we in next upgrade if we
    ignore it?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. So are you using partial menus? That's all it basically is, a blank menu
provided by Autodesk for the user's use as a partial menu.
