Does anyone know a fast-ish way to write text on a curved surface?
(Like the label on a jam jar etc.)
    My way is very slow!

    Thanks,

  3. Does that give you an AutoCAD solid Marc?

No, it gives you a block of closed polylines. Explode it (once), then
extrude the letters, subtracting the interior objects as necessary.
CorelDraw will export DXF files too, but I find the WMF's easier to work
    with.

  5. That would have been too easy, I guess.
Do you 'convert to curves' in Draw before exporting?

I usually give the letters an outline and no fill, then convert to curves.
I believe the export option allows for converting text to outlines, but
    better safe than sorry.
