ctb file

one of our architects got a new computer and upgraded from 14. She migrated her pcp files to create new .ctb files and tried to print her drawing. It came out grayscale with all the lines the same weight. I copied the drawing and the .ctb file to my machine to look at it. The .ctb file looks good - all the pens are set correctly. When I do a print preview the drawing is in color. When I use one of my .ctb files, which I know is ok, the print preview shows the drawing in color, which seems to tell me that it is a problem with the drawing and not the .ctb file. Before changing to the new computer/version of AutoCAD, the drawing plotted properly.
