I'm converting Autocad files to V8 and then saving them as V7 files. I'm using the remapping feature to map out levels, colors, line styles, and attempting weights. The problem that I am running into is getting a weight factor assigned to a level. All my levels have a specified weight but the "ByLevelWeight" column under the Level tab doesn't seem to do what I thought it would. I've also tried to set all Autocad layers to a weight zero and use the Weight tab to map zero weights to a specific weight per the level qualifier and that doesn't work. If I eliminate the level qualifier then everything goes to a weight zero. Has anybody got suggestions?
