crossing selection

    hi all,
    i want to know the logic behind the crossing and window seclection in autocad(how the entities are getting selected when specify the crossing or window)..

    Please help me in this regard

    window means "all elements fully within the selection-rectangle"
    crossing means "all elements that are fully or partially within the rectangle"

    hi ..

    my intention is to know the logic behind the selection of entities. when we specify the 2 corners . how the entities are getting selected . what spatial query is running behind.

  4. i'm not sure if i understand you correctly

    if your question is how to select entities with autocad then read
    the autocad-dev-help on "SelectionSet" (or look in this newsgroup).

    if your question is, how autodesk programmed it, then sorry....
