Using AUTOCAD 2000 LT - is there a way to
automatically count the number of entries of
a particular block in a drawing.

    thanks,

  2. Does LT have the FILTER command? If so you should get to know it.

  3. Unfortunately yes - I just had a look through the Express folder, & the
command appears to be entirely written in lisp.

  4. So does LT have the FILTER command. When I first discovered it I used it for
    counting parking spaces.
You should be aware that the difference between the "objects found" and the
    "objects filtered" is not
always reliable. Do a SELECT>P afterward or a LIST>P to make sure of the
count. (That was back in r12/r13/r14.
    Things may be different now.)
