copy & paste pulldown image

I'm not sure which ng to post this question, but I would like to know how I
can copy and paste the pulldown image only?
I have tried Alt and print screen but this doesn't work. Cropping is a
possibility but it gets a bit hard to do when you want to show a fly out
with the pulldown.

Capturing pull-down menus and optionally their flyouts is
only one of many things that "Snag-it" does well.

"SnagIt" is a great little program - worth checking out if anyone wants to
capture pulldowns etc. Though it did take me a while how to capture the
pulldown- you have to use "Ctrl + Shift + P"
