Converting Inches to Metric in Autocad 2000??

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Guido De Angelis, Nov 22, 2004.

  1. Can someone tell me what is needed to dimension in millimeters, rather
than inches in Autocad 2000. In the "Format" drop down menu, after
selecting units, and changing the inches to milllimeters, inches are
still maintained when dimensioining a drawing. What else needs to be
    changed.
I am thanking you in advance for your help.

its not the overrides in the format column that need changed, its the style
button in the dimension column, the one you changed is just for system
defaults, like "list" or how you enter units.

typing "d" at the command line will bring the correct box up.

Change the dimension settings...changing the units alone wont help
