How can I convert 3D Polylines to solids in order to cut through the solid
    model?

    Thanks.

Can you post an example or give some more detail? 3D Polylines can be quite
different. Are they just line segments or are they curved or splined? Do
they fall in the same plane?

If you simply wish to slice a solid, you only need to define a cutting plane, which can be established by selecting any 3 points.

If something more complex is needed, you can subtract one solid from another.

    Hope this helps.
