Conversion Wizard

  1. Have many of you run the conversion wizard after you installed SW2005?

I've got a large assembly drawing that won't open correctly and it hasn't
been opened in SW2005 before. All the drawing views are missing along with
the BOM and any dimensions. All the sheets have rebuild symbols on them, but
when I click on the rebuild button, SW's crashes.

Has anybody else had this or something similiar happen? Is it possible I
need to update the files with the conversion wizard?

  2. I have not run it at all. See my post titled "New bug - space in user
specified name part number" - possibly your issue also?

  3. Yeah, I saw that post. I'm using the Excel BOM in this assembly and I do
have a couple of files that are set to use a user specified name in the BOM
and then I put a space so no name shows up.

How do I get the drawing open so I can at least get rid of the Excel BOM and
    use the new BOM?
