Hey All, Can someone please tell me what Autocad loads at the beginning for a configuration file. I've installed a schematics plug in that was for R13 and I'm using R14, and now every time CAd starts, it says - "menu Load Failed, File not found: LTEELEC13(mnu/mns/mnc) I have to press okay and it's fine but it's a pain. AS well, I can't use my right mouse button as enter anymore, I have to press enter on the keyboard, does anyone know how to fix that ? I'm Using R14 TIA jason -- ((¯`'·.¸(¯`'·.((¯`'·.¸ * jason bean* ¸.·'´¯))¸.·'´¯)¸.·'´¯)) For me , said Sherlock Holmes, "there still remains the cocaine bottle," and he reached his hand up for it. http://home.cogeco.ca/~jbean3 http://musicpage.kicks-ass.org/
Ok, is there such as file as "LTEELEC13.MNU/MNS/MNC?"? If so, make it available to AutoCAD. Did the "schematics plug in" come with a ".MNX" file and not one of the others by chance?
It's looking for a menu file that isn't in the path. Acad at one time stored the last used menu in the system registry, but I don't know if that is still the case. Still, if you are replacing that menu with some other one, then THAT one should be loaded next time around unless something else is at work..... A script or a start-up routine could be trying to reload the missing menu. You're going to have to do some detective work and read the help file for starters.
Okay thanks for the replies. there was a directory LTEELEC13 , it was in the program files dir. I've deleted and uninstalled the plug in now. No change to autoCAD though. I'm just wondering what AutoCAD uses as a startup file, so I can edit this out of it. I know my way around computers and how to find things. Maybe I'll do a search of my registry, it might be in there. BTW, does anybody know a freeware/ shareware place to get electrical symbols like resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc. I could do a search on google too . cheers, jason -- ((¯`'·.¸(¯`'·.((¯`'·.¸ * jason bean* ¸.·'´¯))¸.·'´¯)¸.·'´¯)) For me , said Sherlock Holmes, "there still remains the cocaine bottle," and he reached his hand up for it. http://home.cogeco.ca/~jbean3 http://musicpage.kicks-ass.org/
