I do alot of concrete forming using the Symons Steel-Ply system.
Basically I draw a wall (usually 8" wide) in plan view. I then
manually place forms around the wall. The forms are simply rectangles
2-1/2" wide and from 2" to 24" long. Is there a way to have Autocad
automatically place these forms around the perimeter of the wall? For
example, if I have a wall that is 10' long, I manually place 5 forms
that are 2-1/2" x 24" long on each side of the wall.
Most walls I deal with are much more complex than this but the concept
    is still the same.
    I am using Autocad R14.
    Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
    Thanks,
    CWB

It's the wrong software here...but yes CWB
You need to pick up some programming skills with VBA or lisp
go with vba.... but google them both

14 has vba, maybe not all functions but more than enough to do what you
    want to do

there is a autodesk users forum .. discussion.autodesk.com..
and you should have a big macro in /support/??? <somewhere>
with a lot of how to's... code snipplets
