Computer RAM memory used as a buffer

    Hi there

I have a Xerox 2230ij plotter in which I plot through a network using AutoCAD 2004. Some of the files I plot become too big for my plotter memory so I end up not being able do print.
A few days ago I became 'aware' of a way to use the RAM memory as some kind of buffer so the data is sent to the plotter little by little. The person who told me about that didn´t know how that worked, so I ask you: Is it really possible? How is it done?

    Thanks in advance

  2. I think he is referring to the option to "Process document ... In computer /
In printer", where "In computer" (often) helps if the printer runs out of
memory. This is a feature of the HP DesignJet driver. Don't know if the
    Xerox/Encad driver offers this option.

Govert J. Knopper, thanks for the reply

This option you mentioned, where is it exactly located?
