Command Line Switches

Discussion in 'Microstation' started by Todd Lanphear, Jul 14, 2003.

  1. When I am trying to use a command line switch to change the startup
configuration file I keep getting an alert from MicroStation that
    states:

    Design file
    <-wcC:Bentley\program\microstation\config\homeuse.cfg> does not exist.

    Ok or Cancel

Here is exactly what my command line reads:
    C:\Bentley\Program\MicroStation\ustation.exe
    -wcC:\bentley\program\microstation\config\homeuse.cfg

    Any Help is greatly appreciated!

    Todd ...
1 Is the above all on one line -- is the line-break a consequence of copying
    to the newsgroup?
    2 Does file C:\bentley\program\microstation\config\homeuse.cfg exist?
3 Why not post the contents of homeuse.cfg?
4 Do files mslocal.cfg and msconfig.cfg also exist in the same folder?
5 Have those file been changed?

    Todd ...
I'm clutching at straws here, but the above line will expand to:
    C:/Bentley/program/microstation//CONFIG/msconfig.cfg

It's possible that the double-slash will fool MicroStation.

    Try:
    %include $(MSDIR)config/msconfig.cfg

  4. I noticed that too and made the correct change and it still didn't
work. Thanks for looking into my issue. I appreciate all your help.
