ColorBook & Tool Palette Paths

    Is it possible to change the ColorBook & Tool Palette Paths in 2004? I changed them in Options, but when I restarted AutoCAD, the paths were back to the original locations. Did I miss something? Thanks in advance for any help !!
    (Note: my reason for wishing to change the paths is to avoid the new environment variables that are causing problems when I attempt to merge a .reg file to apply user-specific customizations to an otherwise standard profile for the office. - I have a couple of previous posts in that regard.)

    Do you use a profile switch with a MyProfile.arg in shortcut? Ex:
    C:\Programme\Acad2004\Acad.exe /P MyProfile.arg

    In this case your changes would be overwritten on each start of AutoCAD.

    Thank you. I apologize for not having got back to check for replies. Yes, I do use a profile switch. I managed to make the changes necessary. THANK YOU, AGAIN!!
