Color By Layer

    I have a LSP routine to redefine object and block color to bylayer. I am
    receiving files that have proxy objects (AEC_DOOR) that I cannot change with
    my current routine. Is it possible to change these objects? If I explode
    them, they are anonymous blocks (*U843). Any ideas?

    If I explode a door then the wall fills in. I'd like to keep the drawing
    displayed as is.

    Sounds like ADT stuff.
    1. Download the appropriate object enabler from Adesk (free).
    2. Thaw, On, Unlock all related layers.
    3. Try exploding things in different order/groups.

    Seems I remember exploding the walls instead of doors kept the openings
    correct. Or maybe it was the walls and doors needed to be exploded
    together. Anyway, I remember a user here discovering that what and in what
    order things were exploded made a difference.
