I have a program that will put all objects on my designated snap distance. I have dwgs translated from tif files. This causes many lines to be at a slight angle. When I put them on snap many of the intersections do not connect. Anyone know of a way to either select all or windowed sections and connect all points within a certain distance?
    Thanks for the help.

depending on your snap distance you could saveas dxf file with precision set
low, then open the dxf file and save as the original dwg.

this will round to the nearest decimal unit ( 0.1 0.01 0.001 )

so if your snap is, for example, 0.25 you can scale all objects by a factor
of 4 then save with precision of zero decimal places then open the dxf,
scale everything by 1/4. (i have not verified this, it's just an idea)

    mataeux,
Interesting idea. I learned from it. Thank you. But, it didn't make any difference in the corners. They were still open. I am using AutoCAD 2002 and when I saved as a dxf, it left the file open. I
closed it then reopened. Wonder if this made a difference.
    Thanks again for the idea.
