    Title: Civil CAD Designer
    Location: Ashburn, Virginia
    Employment Type: Regular Full Time Salaried

    DESCRIPTION:

    Overview:
    Provides technical civil drafting and design engineering support
    under general supervision of Engineer or senior Designer.

    Responsibilities:
    Sets up discipline design CAD files, transforms and completes
    engineering-provided sketches on CAD utilizing CAE design software.
    Interacts with and gathers information for CAD Operators and other
    Designers.
    Develops design drawings from conceptual to final under general
    supervision.
    Assists project managers with drawings and man hour estimates.
    Be familiar with national and client CAD standards and implement them
    on projects.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in related field and 2+ years of related
    experience, or A.A. degree or vocational training and 5+ years of
    experience.
    Demonstrated basic CAD skills in civil design.
    May require experience and/or training in specific software.
    Strong oral and written communication skills.
    Ability to work with and take direction from Engineers and senior
    Designers.
    If the job requires solo work assignments outside the office, then a
    valid driver's license is required.
    Drug screen, background check, and social security # verification.
    Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required.
