changing default settings for inserting blocks...

    i would like to know how to change the default configuration for the "insert
    block" dialog box. I'm always having to change it in a new session.

    I want to have scale set to 1 and insertion point and rotation specified on
    screen.

    I don't think there is a way to set defaults in the dialog box, but you could use the following line:

    (command "._insert" "~" "_S" "1.0")
