If I have 250 dwgs and the 250# is on the border dwg, I can change the 250 # and it changes to all dwgs that reference the border dwg. Is there a way to change the individual # without opening each dwg and change it manually. IE: 1/250, 2/250, etc. If I add one sheet to a set of dwgs then all of the individual #s change.

  2. Look at RText and the ctab sys. var. Dealing with the last page
number you'll have to store that number in a UserI sys var. using lisp
and use RText to obtain that number for the drawing.

  3. Amen to that. This numbering system causes nothing but trouble.
Too bad we continue to use it. But with a few lisp tools, it makes it
easier. Find the good in all the Bad......Job security.

Exactly why I don't use that anymore. There's really no need if you have a
properly cataloged Sheet Index on your cover sheet . . .
