Does anyone have a example they can share of two same size sprockets with a
chain driving them. I've read how to do this in this group but something
just isnt going right. maybe if I can see the file for one. My email is
    mm77mm(AT)gmail(DOT)com. Thanks...

Go here and you will find a file called Chain and sprkt assy.zip. Open it
up and you will find my RC sprkt file, an RC chain file with all sizes in
it, and an assy putting them together in one fashion.

Keep in mind that in the real world, you usually fix one shaft with its
sprkt, then put a known length chain on it, and then either slide the other
shaft to tension the chain, or install a chain idler. So, what I have given
you is what you asked for, not the way I usually do it for real. Normally,
in SW, I would put the shafts about where I want them, figure a chain
length, set the chain assy model to the number of pitches that's close,
install it on the sprkts, and let the actual length of the chain drive the
free position of the motor, etc. That way you are seeing what it will
really look like in the real world.

Thanks for the link. However what I am looking for is were the chain is
multiple links and actual drive the sprockets

  4. Doable, but quite processor intensive. I don't have one of those as I avoid
    that overhead.
