how can I become a SolidWorks certified professional? Do I have to
pass SW exam or take all SW courses?

I have participated SW first course - so I am now SW certified
    specialist??

There is an exam that you can take. Some VARS offer this exam along with
their training courses. If you go to the solidworks website, it lists the
places that you can take the exam. It costs $500.00 US dollars to take.
However, if you are able to go to solidworks world in January, you could
take the test then for less money.
I would not suggest taking the test unless you have about 12-18 months of
good solidworks usage. If you can take training classes go for it! All the
information you can get will help. The test has three parts, basic modeling,
written test, and a specialized modeling portion ( sheetmetal, advanced
assembly, advanced free form modeling). The written test, covers all aspects
of SolidWorks. The basic modeling covers basic modeling, drawing, and
assembly skills. The specialized modeling portion tests your expertise in
    either of the aformentioned topics.

I just recently took the test and passed. Ive been using solidworks for 4
years now. I got hook up with a one years worth of unlimited training and a
chance to take the test. I took advantage of every training class I could.
My var told me there was an 80% failure rate on those taking the test for
the first time. After taking the test, I can believe a lot of people fail
the test, but not 80% worth.

Your best option is to use the program as much as possible and work in all
areas, plus get as much training as you can.

    Hope this helps

80% sounds like a reasonable number. I administered the test quite a few
times in my VAR days and a lot of people take the test not realizing how
much there really is to SolidWorks.
